Fresh Water and Flushing Water Service Reservoirs and Associated Works in Fanling North

Fresh Water and Flushing Water Service Reservoirs and Associated Works in Fanling North -Design and Construction (CE 21/2019 (WS))

Project Scope

Fresh Water System

Proposed Fanling North fresh water service reservoir (FLN FWSR);
Proposed trunk mains to the FLN FWSR; and
Proposed distribution mains from the FWSR to FLN NDA and associated service connection.

Flushing Water System

Proposed Fanling North flushing water service reservoir (FLN FLWSR) together with a temporary-main for flushing (TMF) from the nearby fresh water service reservoir;
Proposed pumps and associated electrical and mechanical (E&M) / civil works within Shek Wu Hui Water Reclamation Plant (SWHWRP) constructed by Water Supplies Department (WSD) and the connecting trunk mains from SWHWRP to FLN FLWSR; and
Proposed distribution mains from FLN FLWSR to FLN NDA and associated service connection.

Current Progress

The consultancy agreement was awarded to Binnies Hong Kong Limited in July 2020. Design of service reservoirs are being carried out and the construction works are scheduled to commence in 2024 for target completion by 2029.
